A fully insulated, softwood yoga studio with four-pane bi-fold doors.
This client approached Barnwood Carpentry to design and construct a tranquil garden studio to accommodate her yoga classes. A key consideration was how to ensure maximum light in the studio as that end of the garden was quite enclosed and shaded. We agreed that bi-fold doors were the ideal solution, as not only did this provide the light needed, but it also enabled the client to fully open the front of the studio in good weather.
This garden studio was a turnkey service. It was constructed and handed over to our client, who was fully finished and ready to use. This included groundworks including levelling of the site and foundations, softwood frame and cladding, weathered roof finished with torch-on felt and guttering, plastering, purchase and fitting of four-pane aluminium bi-fold doors, electrical fit out, finished floor, second fix carpentry including skirting boards, decoration, and shoe storage.
