Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent service from Barnwood Carpentry. They repaired a traditional timber casement window that needed careful, like-for-like work due to conservation restrictions. From the initial assessment through to the repair, everything was professional and straightforward. The carpenter who carried out the work was highly skilled, polite and considerate, and did an excellent job. The window is now as good as new, while retaining the original structure. Very pleased with the result and would happily use Barnwood again.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is the third time I've called upon Barnwood carpentry and will without a doubt be using them again in the future. On this occasion it was to remove a dated cupboard / storage unit from a bathroom and to build a bespoke cupboard in its place. The quality of work is amazing along with the friendliness and professionalism of the guys who carried out the work. I would highly recommend.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve been using the garden cabin for a year now and the greatest compliment I can pay Richard and his team is that I wish we’d had it built years earlier!

From the moment construction began, it was obvious this wasn’t just another garden office. It was built to last with real attention to detail. The shoffice is incredibly robust, surprisingly spacious, and blends beautifully into our semi-rural setting on the edge of Godalming. Richard took the time to explain every stage of the custom build, giving us complete confidence throughout the process.

The finished result has exceeded our expectations. It’s become a peaceful retreat from the bustle of everyday life, fantastic value for money, and something that everyone who visits admires. I wouldn’t hesitate to strongly recommend Richard and the Barnwood team.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently used Barnwood for some fitted wardrobes and storage, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

From start to finish, the team were professional, flexible and incredibly accommodating. My plans evolved as the project progressed, and they were always patient, happy to discuss options, and willing to adapt without making anything feel like a problem.

Everyone who worked at the house was polite, respectful and considerate. They kept the work areas tidy and took great care of both the house and the surrounding grounds, which was really appreciated after a major renovation.

The quality of the workmanship is excellent, and the finished result is exactly what I had hoped for. I'm delighted with the wardrobes and storage they've created and would happily use Barnwood again in the future.

Thank you to the whole team for such a positive experience.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Really great. Richard was brilliant from when he first came to look at the job I needed doing. He and his team were truly excellent working in a difficult older house with akward access. They were all really lovely and cleaned any mess and dust away afterwards. Highly recommend

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We've used Barnwood for various carpentry and joinery over the years, most recently to reengineer our kitchen larder units to accomodate a larger integrated fridge and freezer. Rarely easy jobs but we've always found them incredibly skilled, professional and cost competitive. The communication has been brilliant, right from the initial visit & quote, to the kick-off meeting and final sign-off of the project. Site always left clean & tidy and their work is of the highest standard. I'd highly recommend!

Barnwood managed to fit us in ahead of schedule and fulfilled every request our daughters had. They were also prompt, very efficient and a joy to have on site. We can see many happy hours for the girls in the years to come!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Richard was great in terms of explaining options and the best way forward with the work on our old barn. When they arrived to do the work, some hidden parts turned out to require less work than expected and Tabitha reflected this very fairly in the final invoice. Nice people who do a good job at a fair price. No hesitation recommending Barnwood.

We are so glad we chose Barnwood to build our new pergola. We wanted something quite bespoke for our period property and knew we needed a genuine specialist to make it happen. Right from the first contact about our ideas, during all our conversations about the design, and throughout the construction process, Richard, Tabitha, and the whole team were unfailingly helpful and utterly professional. They were excellent.

Barnwood picked up our project for glulam beam replacement at late notice and delivered on time and on budget. Tabitha and Richard have been fantastic to work with and would highly recommend.

Initially, I thought the work I needed done would be far more expensive than it ended up being and I really couldn’t be happier. They where on time, came back on the day after a bad bout of rain, and kept to their initial quote. I’ll be using them whenever they have availability for future projects. Also, Richard and Tabitha where extremely polite and easy to communicate with. Absolute stars.
